Training operations platform

Run training with measurable outcomes, not manual operations.

Most teams run delivery on spreadsheets and find out a learner has dropped a month after they left. Rukia keeps curriculum, cohorts, assessments, progress and billing in one place. We built it running our own school.

Platform

Everything you need to run training

Every feature here exists because we needed it to run a school. Nothing was added to fill a gap on a comparison table.

Curriculum and pathways

Build the program once. Modules, milestones, prerequisites, electives and certification rules apply the same way to every cohort that follows.

Practice and assessments

Assignments, timed quizzes and project submissions, graded automatically wherever they can be. Learners get feedback the same day instead of the following week.

Class management

Schedules, attendance and instructor assignments for every cohort. Run six programs at once without keeping a spreadsheet for each one.

Progress tracking

Dashboards for learners, instructors and admins that update as work comes in. You see someone slipping while there is still time to do something about it.

Billing

Invoices, payment plans and revenue reports, with M-Pesa and card payments. Finance stops reconciling fee payments by hand.

Pilot

AI assistant

Answers learner questions in context, drafts the progress summaries your team writes by hand, and flags who needs a nudge this week.

Use cases

Built for how you actually work

The same platform, pointed at two different problems.

For institutions

Standardize delivery across campuses and cohorts

  • One standard, everywhere

Every instructor works from the same curriculum, the same assessments and the same grading criteria, whichever campus they teach at.

  • Catch drop-off early

You find out a learner is struggling from their submissions, not from an exit call three weeks later.

  • Give your team their week back

Attendance, grading and reporting stop eating your coordinators' time. That time goes back into teaching.

For employers

Track workforce training with confidence

  • Reporting that holds up

Completion, skills and compliance broken down by team, exportable the day your board or your regulator asks for it.

  • Know what is actually being used

See which teams are doing the training and which ones need a conversation, while there is still quarter left.

  • Same program in every region

Remote, hybrid and on-site staff get the same content and the same assessments, wherever you operate.

Company

From school to infrastructure

Zindua School came first. We opened in Nairobi in 2019 teaching software engineering and data science, and we built our own tools because nothing we could buy matched how the work actually ran.

Rukia is those tools, taken out of the school and made into a product. Curriculum, cohorts, progress, billing and support. Every part of it was built to fix a problem we had that week, which is a different thing from a feature list drawn up in a planning meeting.

Talk to the team
  1. 2019

    Zindua School founded

We opened in Nairobi teaching software engineering and data science. The first internal tools went in that year, because the alternative was running cohorts out of a spreadsheet.

  2. 2020-2023

    Building the operating system

Cohort after cohort. Every part of delivery still living in a spreadsheet got rebuilt properly: curriculum, attendance, grading and learner support.

  3. 2024

    Profitability and scale

Profitable, past 500 learners across concurrent cohorts, and holding a 90% completion rate.

  4. 2025

    Rukia is born

We took the platform out of the school and made it something other institutions and employers could run themselves.

  5. 2026

    Growth phase

Institutions and employers across East Africa now run on it. The AI assistant is in pilot.

Pricing that follows your learner numbers

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions we get asked most. If yours is not here, ask us.

About a week for most teams. We move your existing content across, set up your first cohort with you, and train your admins before you go live.

Native integrations with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, M-Pesa and Stripe are being finished now. Tell us what your stack is on the first call and we will be straight with you about what is ready and what is not.

Performance tracking, early warning on learners likely to drop, AI-assisted grading at scale, and personalized learning paths. The point is to turn delivery data into decisions your instructors can act on, so a high-touch program stays affordable as it grows.

No. The assistant is optional and currently in pilot. Curriculum, tracking, billing and management all work without it.

Each organization's data sits in its own tenant. Access goes through a dedicated identity provider, and content storage is scoped so a signed-in user can only reach their own organization's records.

Yes. Your learners see your domain, your logo and your colors. Every organization gets its own branded environment.

Email support on every plan, with priority response and a named contact on larger deployments. In practice we answer within four hours.

Yes. You can model teams, departments and regions, each with their own programs, dashboards and reporting.
